Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the SUFRA platform, whether you are a restaurant subscribing to the service or a guest ordering through it.
Last updated: 2026-08-22
01SUFRA’s role — a technical intermediary; the restaurant is the seller
SUFRA is a technology platform that lets restaurants publish menus and take orders, reservations and payments. We do not prepare or sell food.
The restaurant is the Seller of Record to the guest: it is responsible for the food — its quality, safety, description, price and availability — and for fulfilling the order.
When you pay, we act as the restaurant’s agent in collecting that amount on its behalf, and your payment through the platform discharges your obligation to the restaurant for that amount.
Complaints about food or in-restaurant service should go to the restaurant first; we will help mediate within what the platform allows.
02Using the service
SUFRA provides restaurant-management tools including menus, orders, payments, reservations, a kitchen display and reporting.
You agree to use the service in line with applicable Saudi law, and not to misuse it, attempt to breach it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
03Account & security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
04Orders & cancellation
An order is accepted when the restaurant confirms it.
An order can be cancelled until it enters preparation. Once preparation has begun the platform will not cancel it, and any cancellation is at the restaurant’s discretion.
Reservation deposits (iltizam) follow separate rules set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
05Prices & VAT
All prices are in Saudi Riyals, with 15% VAT added as required by Saudi law.
A restaurant may add a service charge, which is disclosed before you complete payment.
Prices are set by the restaurant and may change without notice; the price shown at the time of ordering applies.
06Payments & processing by Tap
Payments are processed by the licensed Tap Payments gateway. We neither receive nor store your card details.
Processing fees may be deducted from the restaurant’s proceeds; guests pay no charges beyond those disclosed.
Restaurant proceeds are transferred after deduction of the platform commission and processing fees, according to the applicable settlement cycle.
07Subscriptions
Free and paid plans are available. Prices are in SAR with 15% VAT added.
A paid subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before renewal.
Subscription refunds follow the rules set out in the Refund Policy.
08Intellectual property
The SUFRA brand, software and content remain ours; your restaurant’s content — its menus, images and data — remains yours.
You grant us a limited licence to display your restaurant’s content within the platform in order to provide the service.
09Limitation of liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and secure, without an absolute guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We are not responsible for the quality, safety or accurate description of food — that is the restaurant’s responsibility as seller.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10Termination
You may end your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for a material breach of these terms or for unlawful use, giving you notice unless the law prevents it.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as the service or the law changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page, and we will notify subscribers of material changes by email or in the platform before they take effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
